CALL FOR THOUGHT LEADERS

Help shape education for the largest energy event in North America. The Education Committee for RE+ 26, on behalf of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), will begin accepting education session ideas and speaking submissions for RE+ 26. Opportunities include submitting an idea for a Full Conference or Show Floor Theater session, applying to speak on our Full Conference program, or submitting a poster.

No other platform provides this opportunity for collaboration and access to the industry. This is your chance to showcase your work in our 2026 program. SEIA and SEPA are committed to building a diverse and inclusive industry, and we strongly encourage submissions from women, people of color, and underrepresented groups in the renewable energy industry.

We are still accepting submissions for educational posters; all other submission types are now closed.

Submission Types

CALL FOR POSTERS

Select this option to submit a poster concept.  Posters facilitate the dissemination of research and innovations, analyses of practical problem-solving efforts, and recommended best practices to the solar and smart energy communities. Posters may not include marketing. RE+ prints and hangs all posters, and they are displayed for the duration of the conference. One poster representative is required to attend RE+ to discuss the poster during the Poster Reception and/or poster walks. Note: There is no formal speaking role in correspondence with submitting a poster.

CALL FOR SPEAKERS

Anyone interested in speaking at RE+ 26 on a Full Conference education session (panel or other non-Expo Hall session) should apply to speak, regardless of whether or not they’ve submitted a Full Conference session idea. Your information will be shared with our planning committees for consideration, and you will be notified only if the committee would like to extend an invitation to speak. Speakers whose organizations are members of SEIA/SEPA will be given priority, as well as those from diverse backgrounds. We seek speakers that are subject matter experts in their respective fields within the clean energy industry.

The submission portal has now closed. Applicants will only be notified if invited to speak; invitations will be sent out beginning in late spring/early summer and may continue until the event.

For those who missed the application window, we encourage you to apply to speak at one of our many regional or international events.

CALL FOR RE+ FULL CONFERENCE IDEAS

Full Conference Education Session: Full Conference education sessions include six tracks of education and multiple session lengths and formats. Ideas submitted for Full Conference will be reviewed by our Education Core Committee for inclusion.

Please note that while the RE+ Education Team may reach out for more information regarding your idea, you will not be notified of acceptance or denial of your submission. Organizations/individuals wishing to speak should submit a speaker application separately, as they will not be automatically considered to speak along with their idea submission.

Full Conference Education is organized into six tracks, and submitters may select topics and sub-topics on the submission form:

Please note that you will only be notified if your Show Floor Theater session is selected for inclusion. If your Show Floor Theater session idea is selected, your organization will have an opportunity to participate as a speaker for the session.
