Digital Content Creator (Social Media, Video Content) Terms and Conditions:
By applying for and accepting a Digital Content Creator badge for RE+ 26, participants agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility & Application Requirements
- Applicants must be active digital content creators producing original content related to clean energy, sustainability, transportation, or adjacent industries.
- Applicants must submit:
- Relevant social media handles.
- A minimum of three (3) relevant content examples published within the past six (6) months.
- Links to previous posts/articles/videos discussing our event. Disregard if this is your first time applying for a press pass.
- Plans/goals for attending this event (i.e. what you plan to cover/post while at the event).
- Minimum audience thresholds (must meet at least one):
- 10,000+ followers on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or X
- 20,000+ monthly views on YouTube or equivalent video platforms
- RE+ reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its sole discretion based on relevance, audience quality, and alignment with event goals.
Content Creation & Posting Requirements
- Digital Content Creators agree to create and publish original content (copy, images, video, or audio) promoting RE+ 26.
- Content Creators must post a minimum of:
- One (1) post prior to the event
- Two (2) posts during the event
- One (1) post after the event
- All required posts must:
- Use the official event hashtag: #REPlus26
- Tag official RE+ social media accounts (to be provided upon approval)
- Content should highlight event experiences, education sessions, exhibitors, networking, and industry insights.
Content Guidelines
- All required posts must be standalone posts (not including stories that disappear), ensuring lasting visibility.
- Hashtags and tags must be included within the caption of each post.
- Content must be professional, accurate, and aligned with the values of the clean energy industry.
- Content shall not disparage RE+ Events, SEIA, SEPA, or other key stakeholders or event partners.
- Content Creators are encouraged to maintain authenticity while ensuring factual representation of the event and industry.
- Content that is misleading, offensive, or inconsistent with RE+ values may result in removal of credentials.
Content Usage & Retention
- Content Creators may not delete required posts for a minimum of four (4) months following the event.
- By participating, Digital Content Creators grant RE+ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost, share, and use submitted content for promotional purposes, with appropriate credit.
Agreement Term & Compliance
- This agreement becomes effective upon approval and confirmation of registration.
- Content Creators who fail to meet the outlined requirements may:
- Have their credentials revoked during the event
- Be deemed ineligible for future RE+ events
Additional Considerations
- Content Creator badges are non-transferable and may not be used for commercial resale or unauthorized promotions.
- RE+ reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
