Educational Offerings at RE+

Full Conference Education Pass

Full Conference passholders are the only registrants able to access the Main Stage and seven (7) tracks of concurrent session content showcasing solar, energy storage, and clean energy thought leaders discussing the leading topics keeping our industry up at night and the solutions to these problems.

Full Conference attendees will also have access to the Full Conference Lounge. New in 2025, the Full Conference Lounge is an escape away from the hustle and bustle of RE+, available only to full conference passholders. A place to recharge—perfect for sending a quick email, enjoying a cup of coffee, or having a quiet conversation. Whether you need a moment to unwind or connect, this calm space is here for you.

Featured trending topics at RE+ 25 include finance and development, load growth, manufacturing, electrification, grid modernization and resilience, land use, community engagement, federal and state policy, taxes and tariffs, innovative technologies, and business-growth sessions related to HR, environmental, social and governance (ESG), and communications. Concurrent education is organized into seven (7) themed tracks based on the topics listed above; each track is in one room for the duration of the conference for the convenience of the attendees. Full conference education is offered in a variety of formats including panels, Energy Exchanges, Deep Dives, QuickTalks, and RE+ Tech content for different learning preferences.  For sessions that provide slides or document resources, those are loaded into the RE+ Connect app for all Full Conference attendees to access during and after the event.  Please note that education sessions will not be recorded for post-conference viewing for RE+ 25.

Panel Sessions
Moderated conversations featuring a variety of thought leaders discussing the hot topics keeping them up at night and the solutions needed for the clean energy transition.  

Energy Exchanges
Facilitated networking opportunities designed to drive meaningful conversations around clean energy solutions. Attendees have the opportunity to engage directly with thought leaders on specific topics such as workforce development, advocacy, policy solutions, and driving equity.

RE+ Tech

RE+ Tech sessions spotlight emerging technologies across clean energy sectors. Balancing technical presentations with practical innovation, RE+ Tech seeks to foster partnership between tech trailblazers and business and industry leaders, providing a hub to collectively innovate tomorrow’s clean energy solutions.

QuickTalks 
These 30-minute sessions are fast-paced, informative, engaging presentations on a specific topic, featuring a few key speakers.

Deep Dives
Occurring exclusively on Monday and Wednesday, Deep Dives are longer-format sessions (two hours) that cover specific topics in-depth and feature keynote addresses from thought leaders, and idea-sharing opportunities among attendees.

For the attendee looking to learn and network around key topics, but who won’t be available to take in education on Tuesday or Wednesday, we have a Monday-only pass that includes access to up to two Deep Dives (there are four options) and networking opportunities on Monday. Main Stage Programming
Main Stage sessions are a must-attend destination. Featuring leaders from top industry organizations, this series will offer forward-looking insights for the clean energy industry.  

Full Conference Education Tracks

Finance & Development
This track provides in-depth strategies for financing clean energy projects and overcoming development hurdles. Sessions will cover trends in project risk management, tax incentives, mitigating supply chain risks, and leveraging state and federal policy opportunities for successful project completion.

Market Trends: Transmission & Distribution, Load Growth, and Electrification
This track examines the shifting energy landscape driven by load growth, transmission and distribution, and electrification. Topics may include innovations in these areas, strategies for transmission planning and interconnection standards, and solutions for scaling up the energy transition across industries.

Grid Modernization & Resilience
This track spotlights the cutting-edge tools and technologies transforming the grid to meet future demands. Attendees will explore how technologies such as virtual power plants (VPPs) are enhancing grid flexibility and reliability, with a focus on strategies that optimize resilience.

Land Use & Community Engagement
This track centers on the intersection of renewable energy development, land use, and community partnerships. Discussions include topics such as land-use strategies and agrivoltaics, and engaging tribal nations and local stakeholders to ensure community buy-in from project approval through decommissioning.

Regulatory Innovations & Policy Drivers

This track addresses the evolving policy landscape, focusing on regulatory challenges and opportunities in the clean energy sector. Topics include federal and state-level policy developments, tax and tariff challenges, siting and permitting processes, and strategies for engaging with utility commissions.

Business Intelligence: HR, ESG, and Communications

Focused on corporate and organizational strategies, this track covers workforce development, business growth, and marketing and communications. Sessions will discuss cultivating an inclusive workforce, meeting corporate social responsibility goals, and navigating challenges in evolving political and regulatory environments while driving organizational success.

Technology Trends: Batteries, Microgrids, and Cybersecurity

This track explores emerging technologies that are reshaping the energy landscape—such as long-duration storage, hydrogen, and geothermal— and addresses challenges that come with cybersecurity. Attendees will gain insights into how these innovations are boosting grid resilience and driving sustainable energy practices across various sectors.

The RE+ General Session kicks off our event programming and sets the tone and focus of the full program. Hear from important stakeholders and industry leaders in solar, energy storage, and the broader clean energy industry, and get excited about what is to come at RE+. 

Show Floor Theaters

Taking place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of RE+ during Expo Hall hours, the Show Floor Theaters offer content that can be delivered and appreciated by all attendees walking the exhibit floor. Theaters at RE+ 25 include: 

Smart Manufacturing and Logistics Theater

Dive into the dynamic landscape of manufacturing and logistics within the U.S. renewable energy sector. From automation to data analytics, theater sessions uncover the innovations driving efficiency and sustainability in renewable energy production.  

 

Electric Drive Theater
What’s next for EV charging and related hydrogen mobility solutions? Content will cover trends, national policies, and demonstrations concentrating on the hydrogen & fuel cells, and electric vehicles industries. 

Grid Edge Theater
This theater will include discussions on the entire solar, energy storage, hydrogen fuel cells, distributed wind and microgrid landscape.  It will also include a live microgrid demonstration.

Industry Trends Theater
With an emphasis on solar, listen to current events, trends, innovations, research and analyses from SEIA, SEPA and other industry-leading organizations. 

Installation and Operations Theater
Receive quality, comprehensive technical training and NABCEP credit from certified instructors.  Learn strategies and tips for both PV installations and energy storage systems.

Storage Central Theater
Storage Central will focus on the different technologies and applications of energy storage from fire safety to contract structures to examining the tools to better navigate the storage landscape. 

Innovation Theater
The Innovation Theater will feature startups and companies presenting best practices and solutions that represent the entire clean energy landscape—from production to energy management, to automation.

The poster area, on the show floor at RE+, hosts hundreds of educational posters featuring renewable energy projects, research, and educational programs. See the latest research and meet with poster presenters from universities, national labs, and innovative clean energy companies.

Workshops*

RE+ offers two days of additional education in the form of workshops that dive deeper into the most pressing issues at the forefront of today’s clean energy industry. Topics include, microgrids and grid integration, emerging technologies, and a variety of solar and storage policy and operations topics.
